Oasis Centre Welcome Team

Come and join us! We are looking for some warm and friendly volunteers to be the welcoming face of Oasis at our community space in the Oasis Centre.

You'll be welcoming people, chatting to them, showing them around the space, providing refreshments, and keeping the space organised and tidy.

Here are the current activities we need volunteers for. You can sign up to volunteer as often as you like using our self service rota system!

• Mondays | 12-2pm | Knitting (and general craft) session
• Tuesdays | 1-4pm | Immigration Advice Drop-in
• Wednesdays | 1-4pm | Oasis Johanna Parents’ Drop-in & Board Games session
• Thursdays | 2-4pm | Clothing rail donation sorting + ad hoc events!
• Fridays | 12-2pm | Debt & Benefits Advice Drop-in

You'll need to be friendly, reliable, and committed to the ethos of Oasis, but no other experience is required.

Fluency in other languages not required but highly desirable!
